Firth had already won three in a row and they went ahead and made it four on Thursday. They put the hurt on the North Fremont Huskies with a sharp 3-0 win. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory the Cougars have posted against the Huskies since September 26, 2023.

While Firth won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-7, 25-23, 25-19.

Firth's win bumped their record up to 8-5. As for North Fremont, they moved to 8-6 with that defeat, which also ended their seven-game winning streak.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Firth will challenge South Fremont at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for North Fremont, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against West Jefferson at 7:00 p.m.
