Recap: Madison Comprehensive Rams vs. Sandusky Blue Streaks
The Madison Comprehensive Rams were the 51-50 winner over the Sandusky Blue Streaks when they last played one another back in January of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. The match between the pair wasn't particularly close, with Madison Comprehensive falling 58-41. They have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Sandusky got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Mae Rameau out in front who scored 16 points along with five steals. That makes it four consecutive games in which Rameau has scored at least 25% of Sandusky's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Ra'kiya Collier, who scored eight points along with 14 rebounds and six assists.
Madison Comprehensive's loss was their third straight at home, which bumped their record down to 3-8. As for Sandusky, the win (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 6-5.
Madison Comprehensive will play host again and welcome West Holmes, where tip off is scheduled for 1:30 p.m. on Saturday. West Holmes has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. Sandusky won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Bellevue at 7:30 p.m. on January 5th. Bellevue presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Sandusky in Ohio (Bellevue is ranked 152nd, while Sandusky is ranked 319th).
