Soccer Recap: White Oak Takes a Loss

White Oak was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against the Dixon Bulldogs, falling 6-0. While losing is never fun, White Oak can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina soccer rankings (they are ranked 242nd, while Dixon are ranked 26th).

White Oak now has a losing record of 6-7-3. As for Dixon, the win was the eighth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 8-2-1.

White Oak didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next game, a 3-0 defeat against Croatan on the 8th. As for Dixon, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next matchup, a 4-0 victory against West Carteret on the 8th.
