Volleyball Recap: Rome Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Rome suffered their biggest defeat since October 3, 2024 on Thursday. They lost 3-0 to the Dalton Catamounts. The loss continues a trend for the Wolves in their meetings with the Catamounts: they've now lost five in a row.

The final score came out to 25-10, 25-9, 25-9.

Leading Dalton to victory were Andrea Hernandez and Mia Garcia. Hernandez had nine digs and two assists, while Garcia had five digs and four assists. That's the most digs Garcia has posted over her last eight contests. Sabrina Ledesma also deserves some recognition as she posted her first assist of the season.

Rome's defeat dropped their record down to 4-20. As for Dalton, their victory was their ninth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 19-6.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Rome will take on Villa Rica at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Dalton, they will venture away from home to challenge Allatoona at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
