Winamac let North Judson-San Pierre stack seven runs on them in the fifth inning on Tuesday but luckily Winamac prevailed anyway. The Warriors had just enough and edged out the Bluejays 8-7. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 7-3 on Monday.
Cash Roth was excellent, going 1-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI. He is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last three games he's played. Another player making a difference was Will Malchow, who got on base in three of his five plate appearances with two RBI.
The victory made it two in a row for Winamac and bumps their season record up to 10-4. As for North Judson-San Pierre, they now have a losing record of 8-9.
We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Winamac will square off against rival Caston at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. Meanwhile, North Judson-San Pierre is set to face off against their familiar foe Pioneer at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
