Granbury won the last time they faced Mansfield Timberview and things went their way on Thursday too. The Pirates walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Wolves.

Granbury easily took the second set, but they let things get interesting in the other. The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-14.

Maddie Caskey paced Granbury's offense, picking up seven kills. Caskey got some help from Mallory Blum and her ten assists. Blum was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Granbury's win ended a five-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 3-8. As for Mansfield Timberview, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-6.
