Basketball Recap: Gaylord Comes Up Short

Gaylord was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They fell 55-44 to the Boyne City Ramblers. The Blue Devils were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Ramblers apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in February of 2024.

Gaylord's defeat dropped their record down to 6-11. As for Boyne City, they pushed their record up to 11-8 with the win, which was their seventh straight at home.

Looking ahead, Gaylord will square off against Petoskey at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Boyne City has already played their next contest (against Cheboygan), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
