Volleyball Recap: L.E.A.D. Academy Takes a Loss

L.E.A.D. Academy and Community Christian squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but L.E.A.D. Academy had to settle for second. They came up short against the Chargers, falling 3-0.

Adriana Stephens paced L.E.A.D. Academy's offense, picking up five kills. Stephens got some help from Kate Mackey and her four assists.

Community Christian's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Sarah Bradley, who had five digs and five aces. Bradley is also on a roll when it comes to assists, as she's now posted 12 or more in each of the last 20 games she's played.

L.E.A.D. Academy's loss dropped their record down to 3-15. As for Community Christian, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 22-4.

L.E.A.D. Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Community Christian, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against North Florida Christian on the 17th.
