Basketball Recap: Galva Comes Up Short

Galva came into this matchup off a tough 30-point loss on Saturday. This time they kept things ultra-competitive, but unfortunately the final result was the same. They fell just short of the Kewanee Boilermakers by a score of 72-69 on Monday. The Wildcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Galva's defeat dropped their record down to 4-3. As for Kewanee, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 4-1.

Galva and Riverdale will compete for holiday cheer at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Kewanee, they will be taking part in a tournament against Fieldcrest at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Boilermakers will need to watch out since the Knights have now posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season.
