Basketball Recap: Briana Young Leads a Balanced Attack to Beat Troy

Bloomfield Hills lost to Troy back in January, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Friday. The Bloomfield Hills Black Hawks took down the Troy Colts 42-27.

Bloomfield Hills' success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Briana Young led the charge by putting up 13 points along with five rebounds and four steals. What's more, Young posted two assists, the most she's had since back in December of 2024. Kaynna Jordan was another key player, scoring eight points and eight boards.

Bloomfield Hills' victory bumped their record up to 8-10. As for Troy, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-13.

Looking ahead, Bloomfield Hills is taking a road trip to challenge Groves at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Troy, they will take on Rochester at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
