Softball Recap: Sipsey Valley Takes a Loss

Sipsey Valley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against the John Carroll Catholic Cavaliers, falling 7-1. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Cavaliers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 10-5 back in March.

Sipsey Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 8-22. As for John Carroll Catholic, their win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 11-18.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Sipsey Valley will take on Wenonah at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. As for John Carroll Catholic, they will square off against Jasper at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Cavaliers are facing the Vikings at the right time seeing as the Vikings are stuck on a four-game losing streak.
