            Reading hasn't had much luck against Twin Valley recently, but that could start to change  on Wednesday. Reading will venture away from home to  challenge Twin Valley  at 4:00  p.m. Reading is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7  runs per game  this season.
Reading was handed a heart-breaking two-run  defeat in their last  game, but they sure didn't let that happen against Harrisburg  on Monday. Reading put the hurt on Harrisburg with a sharp  14-1 win. The Red KNights haven't had any issues with the Cougars recently, as the game was their third consecutive  victory against them.

 David Garcia and  Eidan Vasquez Almonte made a big impact no matter where they played. Throwing,  Garcia   struck out eight batters over  five innings while giving up just one earned run off   four  hits. Meanwhile,  Vasquez Almonte   tossed one inning while giving up   no  earned runs or  hits. At the plate,  Garcia  scored two  runs and  stole a base while  getting on base  in three of his four plate appearances, while  Vasquez Almonte  got on base  in all three of his plate appearances with two  stolen bases. Those  two  runs gave  Garcia a new career-high.
 In other batting news,  Frandy Ruiz and  Janser Paredes did most of the damage at the plate:  Ruiz  scored three  runs and  stole a base while  getting on base  in four of his five plate appearances, while  Paredes  scored two  runs and  stole a base while going 3-for-5. Ruiz is  on a roll when it comes to  stolen bases, as he's  now  snagged  at least one in each of the last three games he's  played.  John Urena also deserves some recognition as  he  snagged his first  stolen base of the season.
 Reading  always had someone on base and  finished the game having  posted an OBP of .590. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Harrisburg only posted  an  OBP of  .407.
Meanwhile, Twin Valley didn't have quite enough to beat Ephrata on Monday and fell  5-4. The Raiders haven't had much luck with the Mountaineers recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.
 Twin Valley saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Grant Moser, who  scored a  run and  stole a base while going 1-for-2.
 Twin Valley's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Reading,  the  win  got them back to even at 2-2.
