Softball Recap: Hidden Valley Mustangs vs. Sweet Home Huskies
Hidden Valley is still undefeated this season after their contest against Sweet Home on Friday, but Sweet Home came as close as anyone has to beating them. Hidden Valley narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past Sweet Home 4-2. The four-run effort marked the Mustangs' lowest-scoring match of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.
Scarlett Gordon spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned (and one unearned) run on three hits and racked up 14 Ks. Those 14 strikeouts set a new season-high mark for her.
