Basketball Recap: Noble Extends Home Winning Streak to 19

Noble waltzed into their matchup on Thursday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They walked away with a 63-54 win over the Westbrook Blue Blazes. Given the Knights' advantage in MaxPreps' Maine basketball rankings (they are ranked third, while the Blue Blazes are ranked 107th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Noble pushed their record up to 14-1 with the victory, which was their 19th straight at home dating back to last season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 71.7 points per game. As for Westbrook, they are on a nine-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-13.
