Recap: Heritage Patriots vs. Fremont Eagles
The Heritage Patriots lost against the Fremont Eagles back in November of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. Heritage took a serious blow against Fremont, falling 63-29. Heritage was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 38-15.
Heritage's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Danica Fuller, who scored 11 points, and Grace Guenthner who scored 7 points.
Heritage bumped their record down to 1-6 with that loss, which was their third straight at home. As for Fremont, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 4-4.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Heritage will take on South Adams at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday. Hopefully South Adams focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 20 on Tuesday. As for Fremont, they will be playing at home against Fort Wayne North Side at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday.
