Recap: Arp Tigers vs. Gladewater Bears
The Arp Tigers's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Thursday after their third straight loss. They took a serious blow against Gladewater, falling 59-25. Arp has struggled against Gladewater recently, as their matchup on Thursday was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.
Arp bumped their record down to 2-7 with that loss, which was their fourth straight at home. That rough patch could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 21.5 points per game. As for Gladewater, their victory bumped their record up to 2-3.
Arp will be playing at home against Pine Tree at 11:00 a.m. on Friday. Pine Tree presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Arp in Texas (Pine Tree is ranked 490th, while Arp is ranked 989th). Gladewater's road trip will continue as they head out to face Brownsboro at 5:00 a.m. on December 5th.
