Basketball Recap: Dunseith Comes Up Short

Dunseith was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss. They were beaten by the Bottineau Braves/Stars 85-39. While losing is never fun, the Dragons can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Dakota basketball rankings (they are ranked 106th, while the Braves/Stars are ranked 15th).

Dunseith's defeat dropped their record down to 2-15. As for Bottineau, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 16-3.

Coming up, Dunseith will square off against Stanley at 7:15 p.m. on Monday. As for Bottineau, they will face off against Turtle Mountain at 7:15 p.m. on Monday.
