Baseball Game Preview: Midlothian Trojans vs. Manchester Lancers

The Midlothian Trojans will head out on the road to face off against the Manchester Lancers at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Manchester took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Midlothian, who comes in off a win.

Last Thursday, Midlothian beat James River Midlothian 10-7. The Trojans haven't had any issues with the Rapids recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.

Meanwhile, Manchester unfortunately witnessed the end of their five-game winning streak on Tuesday. They took a 6-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of Cosby. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last four times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Easton Butts made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run and one double.

Midlothian now has a winning record of 5-4. As for Manchester, their loss dropped their record down to 5-3.
