Softball Recap: Greenwich Country Day Takes a Loss

Greenwich Country Day was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They came up short against the Holy Child Gryphons, falling 17-2.

Greenwich Country Day's loss dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Holy Child, their win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 4-1.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Greenwich Country Day will face off against rival Hopkins at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Holy Child is set to take on their familiar foe King at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
