Baseball Recap: Slinger Owls vs. Lomira Lions
Slinger took care of business in their home opener on Friday. They came out on top against the Lomira Lions by a score of 7-3. For the Owls, this counts as revenge for the 4-3 victory the Lions walked away with the last time they faced one another back in May of 2024.

Jackson Naber looked comfortable as he struck out seven batters over four innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off four hits (and only one walk). That's the most strikeouts he has posted since back in April of 2024.
At the plate, Slinger got a big performance out of Chase Leverance, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-3. Ethan Miller was another key player, scoring a run while getting on base in all three of his plate appearances.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Slinger will challenge Oconomowoc at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Lomira, they will venture away from home to take on Omro at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
