Lincolnview had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 4.5 runs) and they went ahead and made it three on Thursday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Bluffton Pirates a 5-0 shutout. That's more bragging rights for the Lancers, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Lincolnview's victory bumped their record up to 9-2. As for Bluffton, their loss was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 7-10.

Looking ahead, Lincolnview will take on Lima Senior at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. The Lancers are facing the Spartans at the right time seeing as the Spartans are stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Bluffton, they will be playing at home against North Baltimore at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
