Baseball Recap: Sunshine State Elite Academy Takes a Loss

Sunshine State Elite Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They fell 10-7 to MVP Baseball Academy. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Sunshine State Elite Academy of the 5-4 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.

Sunshine State Elite Academy's loss dropped their record down to 2-9. As for MVP Baseball Academy, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-9-1.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Sunshine State Elite Academy is set to square off against their familiar foe Inspiration Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, MVP Baseball Academy will face off against rival Reborn Christian Academy at 3:30 p.m. on Friday.
