Sacramento Country Day's game last Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They claimed a resounding 62-16 win over the Cristo Rey Saints. The Cavaliers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four games by 21 points or more this season.

Sacramento Country Day found their leader in sophomore Ryan Scripps, who shot 4-for-5 from beyond the arc and dropped a double-double on 22 points and 13 boards. Scripps continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Aiden Anguiano, who went 5 of 10 en route to 14 points.

The victory snapped Sacramento Country Day's losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 5-6 record. As for Cristo Rey, they dropped their record down to 0-6 with the defeat, which was their 12th straight at home dating back to last season.

Sacramento Country Day didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 50-45 loss against Sacramento Adventist on the 13th. Cristo Rey has also already played their next contest (against John Adams Academy - El Dorado Hills), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
