Basketball Recap: Carter Takes a Loss

Carter lost against Hardin Valley Academy back in November of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Green Hornets took a 68-58 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Hawks.

Colin Dyrness had a dynamite game For Hardin Valley Academy., going 6-for-7 from beyond the arc on his way to 19 points. Another player making a difference was Kymani Smith, who posted ten points along with eight assists and seven boards.

Carter's defeat dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Hardin Valley Academy, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 5-2.

Carter didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 62-42 win against Cocke County on the 5th. As for Hardin Valley Academy, they have also already played their next contest, a 69-62 loss against Farragut on the 5th.
