Basketball Recap: Wellston Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

Wellston and West Union squared off in some playoff action on Monday, but Wellston had to settle for second. They fell to the West Union Dragons 54-48. The Golden Rockets just can't catch a break and have now endured four defeats in a row.

Wellston's loss dropped their record down to 4-18. As for West Union, their win bumped their record up to 7-16.

Looking ahead, Wellston will take on Nelsonville-York at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. West Union does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
