Spring Hill won the last time they faced Turner and things went their way on Monday too. The Broncos were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Golden Bears. That three set margin sets a new team best for the Broncos this season.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Spring Hill was: they took every set by at least 12 points. The final score came out to 25-9, 25-13, 25-12.

Spring Hill's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Elina Douglas led the charge by getting five aces and four assists. That's the most aces Douglas has posted since back in October of 2024. Macie Metcalf was another key player, getting four digs and two aces.

They weren't the only good servers: Spring Hill was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 12 aces. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their ace total in three consecutive contests.

Spring Hill's victory ended a three-match drought on the road and puts them at 5-9. As for Turner, they dropped their record down to 3-5 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight at home.

Spring Hill has already played their next match, a 2-0 loss against Lansing on the 27th. As for Turner, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 defeat against Seaman on the 23rd.
