Seacrest Country Day and Neumann squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but Seacrest Country Day had to settle for second. They fell 10-5 to the Celtics. The Stingrays' defeat signaled the end of their six-game winning streak.

Abby Weidenmiller made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-4 with one triple, one run, and one RBI. Another player making a difference was Jolie Booth, who went 2-for-4 with one run and one double.

Seacrest Country Day's loss dropped their record down to 9-7. As for Neumann, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-4 record this season.

As of now, neither Seacrest Country Day nor Neumann have any future games scheduled.
