Softball Recap: Princeton Gets the Win

Princeton won against Bland on Thursday with ten runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Friday. The Princeton Panthers walked away with a 10-7 victory over the Leonard Tigers. The Panthers haven't had any issues with the Tigers recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

Daeshana Wilson was a standout: she got on base in all three of her plate appearances with two stolen bases, two runs, and one triple. Another player making a difference was Jadyn Walton, who scored two runs and stole three bases while going 2-for-2.

Princeton's victory bumped their record up to 4-6-1. As for Leonard, they dropped their record down to 0-8 with the loss, which was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season.

Looking ahead, Princeton will head out to face off against Centennial at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Leonard, they will welcome S & S Consolidated at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. S & S Consolidated will roll in looking for their seventh straight win, something Leonard surely won't give up without a fight.
