Basketball Recap: Evansville North Starts off Right with Win over Princeton

Evansville North had to kick off their season on the road on Saturday, but they showed no ill effects. They secured a 67-61 W over the Princeton Tigers. For the Huskies, this counts as revenge for the 66-48 victory the Tigers walked away with the last time they faced one another back in November of 2024.

Bryson Chapman was nothing short of spectacular: he went 8-for-13 en route to 20 points and seven boards. The team also got some help courtesy of Sena Gore, who posted seven points.

Princeton's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.

Coming up, Evansville North will venture away from home to square off against Forest Park at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Princeton, they will welcome Pike Central at 8:00 p.m. on Thursday.
