Maplewood-Richmond Heights had to start their season on the road on Thursday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They lost 3-0 to the Clayton Greyhounds. Sadly, the loss continues a streak the team started last season, making it six in a row.

While Maplewood-Richmond Heights was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Clayton's winning margin in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-4, 25-8, 25-18.
