Softball Game Preview: Spring Hill Bears vs. Kirby Trojans

The Spring Hill Bears will face off against the Kirby Trojans at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with four consecutive losses apiece dating back to last season.

Spring Hill lost 9-1 to Genoa Central on Friday.

Meanwhile, Kirby didn't have quite enough to beat Centerpoint on Thursday and fell 12-11.

Jena Brewer and Tabitha Wilder did some serious damage despite the final result: Brewer scored two runs while going 3-for-4, while Wilder scored two runs while going 3-for-3. Another player making a difference was Montana Cook, who went 1-for-3 with three RBI and one double.

Spring Hill's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Kirby, their loss dropped their record down to 0-1.
