Basketball Recap: Flagler Palm Coast Skates Past Rockledge with Ease

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against DeLand, Flagler Palm Coast was happy to have turned things around on Saturday. They claimed a resounding 54-17 victory over the Rockledge Raiders. The Bulldogs have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight matchups by 20 points or more this season.

Flagler Palm Coast found their leader in sophomore Kierra Clark, who dropped a double-double on 18 points and ten steals. Those ten steals set a new season-high mark for Clark. Ava Works was another key player, putting up ten points along with six rebounds and three steals.

Flagler Palm Coast's record is now 9-2. As for Rockledge, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-8.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Flagler Palm Coast will take on Palatka in a tournament on Friday. Flagler Palm Coast is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 54.5 points per game this season. After both having extra time off, Rockledge and Eau Gallie will shake off the cobwebs and square off against one another at 6:00 p.m. on January 6, 2025. Rockledge is facing Eau Gallie at the right time seeing as Eau Gallie is stuck on a seven-game losing streak.
