Mercer County lost against West Jessamine back in October of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Titans lost 3-0 to the Colts. The Titans' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Mercer County's loss dropped their record down to 3-2. As for West Jessamine, their win was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 5-0.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Mercer County will face off against Garrard County at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The last three games the Golden Lions have played have been within one set, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for West Jessamine, they will be playing at home against Evansville Harrison at 8:00 p.m. on Friday.
