Basketball Recap: Soldotna Takes a Loss

Soldotna was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They were five points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 47-42 heartbreaker at the hands of the Palmer Moose. The Stars were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Moose earlier this season, when they won 43-41.

Soldotna's defeat dropped their record down to 10-13. As for Palmer, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 10-13 record this season.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Palmer beat Soldotna by a score of 43-28 on Saturday.
