Basketball Recap: Deer Valley Takes a Loss

Deer Valley lost against Liberty back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Deer Valley Wolverines were beaten by the Liberty Lions 115-38. The Wolverines were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 52-23.

Deer Valley has traveled a rocky road recently having lost six of their last seven games, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-19 record this season. As for Liberty, the win was the 18th in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 23-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Deer Valley will take on Pittsburg at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Liberty, they will square off against Heritage at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
