Seminole Ridge scored the most points they've had this season on Wednesday, but it wasn't enough. They fell 67-58 to the Greenacres Christian Panthers. While the Hawks didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Panthers 15-10 in the first quarter.

Seminole Ridge's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jayon Coe, who posted eight points along with ten boards and eight blocks. With that strong performance, Coe is now averaging an impressive 2.4 blocks per game. The team also got some help courtesy of Alejandro Alava, who went 8 of 17 on his way to 19 points.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Greenacres Christian to victory, but perhaps none more so than Martino Butler, who put up ten points in addition to eight steals and five assists. Another player making a difference was Brendan Daniels, who posted 18 points.

Seminole Ridge's defeat was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-9. As for Greenacres Christian, with the win, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 2-4.

Seminole Ridge wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 64-49 loss against Leonard on the 12th.
