Basketball Recap: Bracken Christian Snags Ninth Victory in Last Ten Games

Bracken Christian's tournament run continued when they took on Knippa on Friday. The Bracken Christian Warriors came out on top against the Knippa Crushers by a score of 53-43. Given the Warriors' advantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 444th, while the Crushers are ranked 1139th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Bracken Christian has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 17-3 record this season. As for Knippa, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-8 record this season.

Bracken Christian won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against River City Believers Academy at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday. Knippa and Rocksprings will round out the year against one another at at 2:30 p.m. on Monday. Knippa will also cruise into their next match with the timing on their side: Rocksprings will have lost six straight heading into Monday's game.
