Softball Recap: Fruitvale Bobcats vs. Cumby Trojans
Fruitvale posted their closest win since February 22nd on Tuesday. They won by a run and slipped past the Cumby Trojans 6-5.

Kyla Bain made a splash no matter where she played. She struck out 15 batters over seven innings while giving up just one earned (and four unearned) runs off four hits. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in nine consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 4-for-4. Those four hits gave her a new career-high.
Bain wasn't the only one making solid contact as six players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Holly Hance, who scored two runs while going 1-for-4.
Fruitvale kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. They are 4-1 when they post 11 or more hits.
