Softball Game Preview: Danville Ironmen vs. Bloomsburg Panthers

The Danville Ironmen will head out to face off against the Bloomsburg Panthers at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Danville came into their game on Tuesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 11-0 to Mifflinburg. The loss was the Ironmen's first of the season.

Meanwhile, Bloomsburg scored first but ultimately less than Warrior Run in their matchup on Monday. They came up short against the Defenders, falling 16-6. The Panthers have struggled against the Defenders recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost meeting.

Kara Bodganowicz made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one triple. The team also got some help courtesy of Jenna Lykon, who scored two runs and stole three bases while going 4-for-4.

Bloomsburg's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Danville, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 3-1.
