Saints Academy School's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Kenneth Thomas, who dropped a double-double on 10 points and 12 rebounds. Thomas is absolutely dominating the rebound category: he's posted at least eight every time he's taken the court this season. Zikee McCallum was another key contributor, scoring 10 points along with 7 rebounds.
Saints Academy School's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Varsity Opponent, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 57-257-3.
Saints Academy School will head out on the road to face off against Apopka Christian Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Varsity Opponent, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Brewster Academy Prep at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Brewster Academy Prep has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 612 points over their last seven matches.
