Saint Joseph and St. Anthony are an even 5-5 against one another since April of 2018, but likely not for long. The Jesters will be playing at home against the Saints at 3:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Saint Joseph lost 23-16 to Long Beach Poly on Saturday.

Mariah Becerra was cooking despite her team's loss, going 3-for-4 with one home run, four RBI, and two runs. The team also got some help courtesy of Julianna Vasquez, who got on base in three of her four plate appearances with one home run, two runs, and two RBI.

Meanwhile, St. Anthony was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 12th straight loss dating back to last season. They came up short against Paraclete, falling 11-0.

St. Anthony saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ivy Burnham, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base. Burnham has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last three times she's played.

St. Anthony's defeat dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Saint Joseph, their loss dropped their record down to 11-9.

Saint Joseph took their win against St. Anthony when the teams last played on Friday by a conclusive 17-0 score. Will the Jesters repeat their success, or do the Saints have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
