Baseball Recap: Williams Valley Gets the Win

Williams Valley was not the first on the board on Thursday, but they got there more often. They walked away with a 14-11 win over Marian Catholic. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 4-3 back in March.

Fletcher Thompson and Nic Martin did most of the damage at the plate: Thompson went 3-for-5 with two stolen bases, two doubles, and two RBI, while Martin went 1-for-3 with two stolen bases, three runs, and two RBI. Those three runs gave Martin a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Cody Boehmer, who went 2-for-4 with three runs, two RBI, and one double.

Williams Valley's record now sits at 5-6. As for Marian Catholic, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-7.
