Baseball Recap: Elkhorn North's Loss Ends 12-Game Winning Streak on the Road

Elkhorn North faced Millard South in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Monday. Elkhorn North took a 9-5 hit to the loss column at the hands of Millard South. If Elkhorn North was looking for revenge after losing 12-7 to Millard South when the teams met back in April of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Carson Driever made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored two runs while going 2-for-3. Connor Wurdeman was another key player, going 2-for-4 with three RBI and one double.

Elkhorn North's defeat ended a 12-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 6-3. As for Millard South, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 9-1.
