Volleyball Recap: Tri-City Christian Comes Up Short

If Tri-City Christian was riding high fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Bayfront Charter on Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Eagles came up short against the Classical Academy Caimans on Tuesday, falling 3-0. The Eagles haven't had much luck with the Caimans recently, as the team has come up short the last seven times they've met.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 25-15, 25-9.

Tri-City Christian's loss dropped their record down to 8-7. As for Classical Academy, their win was their 11th straight at home, which pushed their record up to 25-7.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Tri-City Christian is set to square off against their familiar foe St. Joseph Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Classical Academy will take on rival Foothills Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
