Basketball Recap: Manor Comes Up Short

Manor was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They lost to the Round Rock Dragons at home by a 53-34 margin. While losing is never fun, the Mustangs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 595th, while the Dragons are ranked 76th).

Manor's record is now 13-11. As for Round Rock, they pushed their record up to 14-4 with the victory, which was their 12th straight on the road dating back to last season.

Manor will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Stony Point at 1:00 p.m. on January 2, 2026. Round Rock and Temple will round out the year against one another at 8:00 a.m. on the 29th.
