Volleyball Recap: Redlands Adventist Academy Takes a Loss

Redlands Adventist Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of the Woodcrest Christian Royals. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Royals this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 last Monday.

In an exciting match in which no team claimed back-to-back wins, Redlands Adventist Academy sadly wound up on the wrong side. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 18-25, 25-17, 26-28, 15-9.

Redlands Adventist Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 7-13. As for Woodcrest Christian, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 18-3.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Redlands Adventist Academy will challenge rival Arrowhead Christian at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Woodcrest Christian is set to square off against their familiar foe Aquinas at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
