Basketball Recap: Berkeley Springs Takes a Loss

The matchup between Berkeley Springs and Keyser on Wednesday hardly resembled the 35-28 effort from their previous meeting. The Berkeley Springs Indians took a 60-48 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Keyser Golden Tornado. The defeat continues a trend for the Indians in their matchups with the Golden Tornado: they've now lost seven in a row.

Keyser's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Braylon Mcgreevy led the charge by dropping a double-double on 17 points and 11 boards. Another player making a difference was Evan Ack, who posted 14 points along with six rebounds and five assists.

Berkeley Springs' loss dropped their record down to 7-6. As for Keyser, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-6.

Berkeley Springs will be playing in front of their home fans against Frankfort at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Keyser, they will challenge Allegany at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Allegany's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last six contests.
