Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Charles J. Colgan). They never let the Potomac Senior Panthers get on the board and left with a 14-0 win on Thursday. Chase Rooney was a massive factor in the win as she booted in five goals all by herself.

Charles J. Colgan pushed their record up to 6-1 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home. Those home wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 28 goals over those four matches. As for Potomac Senior, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-6.

Charles J. Colgan and Potomac Senior will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next contests. The next time the Sharks see the pitch they'll take on Hylton at 7:00 p.m. on the 21st. As for Potomac Senior, their break will end when they face Gar-Field at 7:00 p.m. on the 21st.
