Columbus Christian not only won on Monday, but they posted their biggest win since September 7, 2024 (when they won 3-0). They put the hurt on Fortune Academy with a sharp 3-0 victory. The Crusaders have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw Fortune Academy, too.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Columbus Christian was: they took every set by at least 16 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-2, 25-7, 25-9.

Bella Fredericksen paced Columbus Christian's offense, picking up eight kills. Fredericksen got some help from Abby Dora and her ten assists. Dora was also solid from the service line: she led the team with 23 aces.

Columbus Christian's win bumped their record up to 3-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Columbus Christian will face off against Brown County at 7:30 p.m. on the 19th. As for Fortune Academy, they will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Legacy Christian at 5:30 p.m. on the 25th.
