Lampeter-Strasburg barely beat Ephrata the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Pioneers put the hurt on the Mountaineers with a sharp  14-4 win on Monday. The result was nothing new for the Pioneers, who have now won ten matchups by six  runs or more  so far this season.
 Paige Baxter made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she  pitched five innings while giving up just two earned  (and two unearned) runs off   six  hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't  given up  more than two  walks in seven consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate,  going 1-for-4 with two  runs, one  triple,  and one  RBI.
 In other batting news, Lampeter-Strasburg got a  massive  performance out of  Chloe Meck, who  went 3-for-4 with four  RBI, two  runs,  and two  doubles. Those  two  doubles gave  Meck a new career-high. Another player making a difference was  Mackenzie Mack, who  went 1-for-2 with three  RBI, two  runs,  and one  stolen base.
 Lampeter-Strasburg  always had someone on base and  finished the game having  posted an OBP of .513. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Ephrata only posted  an  OBP of  .321.
Lampeter-Strasburg has  been performing  well recently as they've  won ten of their last 12 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-4 record  this season. The  victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.6 runs on average over those games. As for Ephrata,  they are  on  a  six-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 7-13.
 Coming up, Lampeter-Strasburg will challenge Northern Lebanon at 4:15  p.m.  on Wednesday. Ephrata does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
